Ron Osborne-Williams – Domestic Violence (DV) is more about the D than the V
Ron C. Osborne-Williams is the Education and Prevention manager at Women In Distress of Broward County, Inc. the only nationally accredited, state-certified, full service domestic violence center serving Broward County, with a mission: To stop domestic violence abuse for everyone through intervention, education and advocacy. He provides education and professional trainings on domestic violence and related topics in Broward County and surrounding county of Palm Beach and Miami-Dade in the community.
Additionally, Ron is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (RMFTI) with Gerena & Associates, holds professional teaching credentials in Pennsylvania and Florida, and utilizes a client-centered and strength-based approach to coaching/counseling (play therapy, group, individual, couples, and family) and training consultation. One of his most valuable experiences was serving three years as a Special Education Volunteer for the United States Peace Corps, where he was responsible for building special education programs for children in need for St. Lucia’s Ministry of Education in the West Indies.
