I was born and raised up north, but, like many snowbirds, I decided to make the trek down to Florida, as I was tired of the brutally long and cold winters.
I traded in my winter coat and ice scraper for sunscreen and flop flips.

My Work as a Therapist in Coral Springs
Most of us, have either been in a relationship, are in a relationship, will be in one, or maybe we just got out of one and have vowed to never be in one again.
The beauty of couples counseling is that it is so reciprocal. We are social beings and exist and thrive in relationship whether it be through romantic relationships, family relationships, friendships, teams, etc.
The majority of my work is with couples in Coral Springs, Parkland, and the surrounding areas. I love helping them enhance their communication and create deeper connection amongst other things like increasing fun, friendship and intimacy.
My work with teens and their parents focuses on helping them communicate allowing solutions to naturally arise from a deeper level of understanding between teen and parent.
I also work with individuals looking to find empowerment in their lives and help them to achieve their goals and dreams as we uncover the things that have been blocking them. Visit each of my pages to learn more about each service I offer.

My Therapy Experience in South Florida
I attended graduate school at Nova Southeastern University and graduated with my Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Medical Family Therapy in 2004.
I fell in love with couples work which is my main specialty. I am trained in the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy.
I have served as the Vice President of the Broward Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and I am a State of Florida Approved Supervisor for Registered Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling Interns.
I have held many management and leadership roles since 2006 and have loved helping people become the best versions of themselves.
I am the proud Co-Owner of The Private Practice Startup. My business partner is the amazing Dr. Kate Campbell. We inspire ambitious mental health professionals to brand themselves and grow their dream private practice.
Just For Fun
When I am not “busy” (who isn’t busy nowadays, right?) working with couples, providing guidance to teens and families or helping individuals become amazing clinicians and entrepreneurs, I enjoy relaxing on the beach or somewhere in nature while reading a good book and nourishing my soul and relationships.
I love being a business owner and entrepreneur.
I am a bit of a personal growth fanatic, so you might find me in workshop learning, growing and developing. I am passionate about trying and experiencing new things from new fun food places, hang gliding or hiking in the rainforest.
I also love to travel. My bucket list consists of many things including numerous places I want to travel. What about you, what’s on your bucket list?
