* KEEP COMING BACK AS WE WILL CONTINUE TO UPDATE RESOURCES FOR YOUR RELATIONSHIP
All couples go through difficult times. There is no “perfect” marriage or relationship although it may appear that way on the outside. Each couple faces some sort of difficulty throughout their relationship. It could be personality conflicts, communication issues, not being able to understand one another, inability to resolve conflict, loss of connection, infidelity, betrayals and more.
My method of couples counseling is very “hands on”. I am here to teach you tools and techniques, guiding you in the using them. These tools are yours to take, forever! I find when working with couples these tools not only enhance their romantic relationship but other relationships as well.
* “Just Ask!” is both a book and app created by friend and colleague Dr. Michele O’Mara. Dr. Michele has a private practice in Indiana where she primary works with LBGTQ couples. This book/app is a great way to get to know your partner better.
* Loaded Questions – this one is my personal favorites. I like to use it with couples, families and teens. Loaded Questions asks a variety of questions that can be very interesting and entertaining. With any question and answer game feel free to make up your own rules. You can answer questions about the other party to see how well you know them. You can add a pictionary component to the game, drawing out the answers and having the other guess. So many ways to play the important thing is to have fun!
