Some therapists take insurance and many do not. Counseling should be about choosing the right fit for your needs. I understand that finances can often factor into that decision as well.

People ask why I don’t take insurance. Couple counseling is not covered by insurance nor are my services geared towards treating diagnoses which is required in order to bill insurance.
If you are wanting to go through insurance, call your insurance company to give you a referral. I have seen many people search online just to find out the therapist they would like to see doesn’t accept insurance.
You can try Psychology Today to search a therapist in your zip code. Therapists on the directory list what insurances they take if any. Either way I appreciate you swinging by and taking a moment to see if we might be the right fit moving forward.
My fee for a 50-minute session is $195.
An initial couple’s session is 80 minutes at a rate of $290.
I also offer therapy sessions to fit your needs. Half day intensives for people wanting to dive deep, get a lot accomplished in a short amount of time.
Longer sessions are charged at my regular rate of $195/50 minutes. Half day or full day sessions are paid IN FULL at the time of booking and require a 72-hour cancellation or reschedule.
