How do we do couples counseling online?
Couples counseling online is no different than if we were in person. Before we meet, I will send you the paperwork you will need to complete for therapy to begin as well as information about online counseling that will further answer any questions you have.
Prior to our session, I send you a link, take payment and we meet online through a secure platform at our set time and day.
What if my partner is unwilling to do couples counseling or what if I want to come alone?
I always recommend the couple attending together if possible. Of course, there are some circumstances where you may want to do individual therapy or your partner/spouse refuses to attend. No worries, we can still meet. I am here to help, serve and support you no matter what.

What is the best way to prepare for my/our online counseling session?
If you have never done online counseling before we can always do a test run. If you feel comfortable enough navigating the online world I recommend that you try the link 15 – 20 minutes prior to our session to troubleshoot any tech issues that might arise.
Make sure you are ready to go and online at our scheduled date and time and have a notepad for notes. Also, assure you have any homework from previous sessions.
You will want to be in a place as free from distractions as possible, so we can completely focus on your needs during this time. If you are attending solo I ask that you wear headphones. The ones you got with your phone are perfect.
Wearing headphones increases the quality of our session as well as creates more confidentiality for you.
If we start online can we do in-person sessions?
Of course, we can! I and many of my clients prefer our in-person sessions. Once the COVID-19 crisis is over and if you want we can resume our work together, live! It will be great to finally meet you in person.
